I've been wanting a pocket knife that had a compass, flash light, phillips screwdriver for quite a while and gave up on the idea that one existed until I came across this guy at Target.It's strength is its versatility, it has a socket set for goodness sakes!The good:
Very Versatile!Compass, flashlight, socket set with 6 different heads, pliers, eye glasses phillips screw driver, scissors, 2 blades, etc!The bad:
No tweezers or mini saw!Would prefer a white light flashlight, but the red will do.Metal quality is not as good as Victorinox Swiss Army, but sufficient.Bulky for putting on your keyring.After 1 week of ownership, the top panel that has the compass and the flashlight popped off.It was glued.Exchanged it for another one and upon stress testing it, I was able to pull off that same part easily.Shame on Eddie Bauer for this!
Despite the poor bonding of the compass/light unit, I decided to keep the knife and bond it myself with industrial adhesive as it's versatility is unmatched for day to day applications but when I'm in the field, I will grab my Victorinox as well.
